The Wa Phone could be the first 64bit Mediatek device and the start of the next tech race!

Mediatek have a whole host of great new processors lined up for 2015, but we think it could be the 64Bit Mediatek MT6752 found in the Wa Phone which will really begin the 2015 Chinese smartphone tech race.

Each year comes with it the release of a new Mediatek processor, but 2015 is exciting as we will get the 32bit MT6595 (found in the current Meizu MX4) and the 64bit MT6752 which Wa Phone could be premiering with.

The MT6752 is an 8-core LTE processor running powerful ARM Cortex A53 64Bit architecture with a Mali T760 GPU. The MT6752 is Mediaekā€™s ā€œSuper- Mid(range) marketā€ SoC so we are going to be seeing it hold up in a few Chinese phones over the coming months, the first of which could be the Wa Phone.

Wa Phone are a new brand but hope to make waves with their first phone featuring the above mentioned 64Bit processor, 5.5-inch display with an orange notification bar (similar to the Oppo Find 7) located below.

To see an exciting new smartphone maker from China is great, but to see that the company are basing themselves on Xiaomi and their first phone on the Oppo Find 7 is a huge shame. Letā€™s just hope they donā€™t let us down with the final product.

The Cube T7 is at least listed (no clue if they have stock or it’s just pre-orders) http://item.jd.com/1236822.html
    8xA53 with LTE Mediatek , 2GB RAM , 7 inch 1920×1200 and a nice enough price.
Point being the T7 might be the first device to hit retail with an A53 based Mediatek.
