Deal Exteme selling the Meizu MX4 with free shipping for $428.60

meizu MX4 review

Online reseller, Deal Extreme are selling the octacore Meizu MX4 in both white and grey for a $21 saving with free shipping.

Meizu hit the nail on the head with the launch of the Meizu MX4, but the slightly higher than expected retail price for international customers has put a few potential buyers off. Thankfully though some resellers have the buying power to offer the phone at a slightly lower cost and pass the savings on.

Deal Extreme have listed the Meizu MX4 in both white and grey colour options at lower retail cost saving international buyers over $20. What’s more the price includes FREE shipping (depending on where you are located).

The version of the phone is the 16GB model, which if bought though other sites would cost as much as $449.

But does the Meizu international warranty still apply when buying from third party sites like Deal extreme? If not, I’d rather pay a little bit extra for the warranty…

2014.10.13 – mx4 dealextreme prices: 438 usd (grey, 16gb), 452 usd (white, 16gb). – So what is all that fuzz all about? And what guarantees you have? And are you sure there will be no taxes extra on top of this price from your local customs? I would not buy meizu through dx. And i am sure they do not have it in stock. SO IS THERE A WAY TO GET MEIZU MX4 TO EUROPE AVOIDING CUSTOMS/IMPORT TAXES?

Hi Andi, It seems that MX4 is having important issues regarding the hardware, specially regarding the camera since they seem to break to easily. @HondaRacer, the founder of Meizufans.eu forum and many other users have reported such problems recently. I’m just waiting to receive my device but this is not good news for me neither the rest of the people waiting/having the device. I think this bad news should be posted so it is important to make pressure to Meizu so they solve this BIG problem with no big issues for the users. I really appreciate your job and professionality. Regards,

None of these are actually the International Version of the Meizu MX4. Only Meizumart.com and those sold in Hong Kong with the 3 pin plug are the actual international variants. Even the M461 China Unicom model advertised and sold on these sites isn’t the correct model. They won’t have an unlockable bootloader nor will you be able to load the international FlyMe OS updates such as the latest 4.0.2I which includes Google Play Services and removes all the China bloatware. Instead you have to use the A firmware and sideload Google Play.

You offer a fair warning that should be made sticky above all of the other reactions that promote “its cheaper over here!”.

so you mean to tell me that buying the phone from anywhere else is just going to get you nowhere? im quite sure the international resellers have the same thing meizu itself is selling.
