LTE have updated their P3000 smartphone and renamed it as the Elephone P3000S with added LTE data support.
Elephone’s smartphones have been gaining in popularity over the past 12 months boasting features that include fingerprint scanners and the latest version of Android OS. The P3000S is an updated version of the original P3000, with on octacore MT6592 chipset and MT6290 LTE modem.
The 5-inch phone has a screen resolution of 1280 x 720, there is also 2GB RAM and room for dual SIM and a micro SD card.
A 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 8 mega-pixel front, fingerprint scanner and range of colours make up the rest of the phone. LTE data support is for FDD-LTE networks: 800/1800/2100/2600, WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100mHz.
As usually Elephone have managed to keep the price of their new phone down to an affordable level, and the Elephone P3000S can be ordered now for just $211.59.
Hi ! Anyone knows about the Elephone quality control ? Because this has no weakness theorycally…
And if you ask Elephone, they will answer: “What is quality control?”
It’s one of those brands that when you get the device you have 50% chance to work perfect or have hardware problems. They try to support their customers through their forums and sloooowww ROM updates but I don’t see that they can do it. Every update solves a bug and create another. They release a new device every 2 months and that’s so bad for their programmers I think. They can’t follow up.
It’s a not buy for sure, but the good think is that they try many things (fingerprint scanner first on P2000) and various designs that hopefully make others inspire. Yeah THL I talk about your S%$#t designed phones except T6(s).
My brother and me have an Elephone P8.
Both USBport broke. They try to fix it now.
Good phone, but could better in my opinion.

Please proof-read your articles before posting.
Thanks
That has been going on for more than a year (Yash excepted); so don’t hold your breath 🙂
Actually the P3000 and P3000S are two different phones. http://www.elephone.hk/p3000.html http://www.elephone.hk/p3000s.html. Both of them come with LTE and they are pretty much the same specs except the P3000 uses the MTK6582 whilst the P3000S uses the MTK6592 and also features NFC and a fingerprint reader
ordered mine just now!
Did someone already received one of the P3000s’s? I’m wondering if the phone lives up to the expectations. I’m still pretty happy with my Inew V3, but this phone seems to have a nice battery capacity and performance.
