Chinese start-up ECOO release video of their ECOO Focus E01 smartphone

ecoo focus e01

We first heard of ECOO late last month when the company promised to launch an octacore smartphone with FHD display for only $150. Well they seem to be coming through on their promise and here is a video to prove it.

The video introduction below is of ECOO’s first Android smartphone, the ECOO Focus E01. This device, as you will see in the video, is a 5.2-inch Android smartphone with octacore MT6592 processor running at 1.7ghz.

Full specifications will be released to us very shortly, but so far the first ECOO phone looks pretty good (dispite the obvious Galaxy S5 looks).

Our sources close to ECOO tell us that the E01 will be coming in both a 2GB RAM and 1GB RAM version, although we have to confirm which model will be priced at $150.

Keep posted for more ECOO and Chinese smartphone news.

I don’t really have a problem with clone phones but it’s just soo boring looking.

0 design cost. 0 engineering work done. 0 Thought. – Chinese low budget OEM these days and then the larger ones aren’t much better either.

What the.. why they’re making Galaxy S5 clone ?

It is the price they are targeting. It is normal. After a product is on the market a while, there is a clone which offers similar quality in build quality since the process how it is made has been copied to perfection. Basically they are using Samsungs “good” image to sell a very well made cheap phone. At least that is what they want to do…

Great Value for the price. Although I firmly believe that the 1GB Version is the $150 version. 2GB will be a bit more. Samsung looks is not for me, but it is great if the quality is good for the price. All in all a decent copy for a great price. But nothing really special…
