Early today Meizu sent out emails to the media confirming that the Meizu MX4 Pro will be launched in November.
This morning’s email does not go in to the fine details of the Meizu MX4 Pro launch, for example an actual date or venue were not offered, but at least we do now know that the MX4 Pro will be launched next month.
Gizchina News of the week
So far rumours, leaks and details from our sources tell us the Meizu MX4 Pro will have a slightly larger 5.5-inch display, between 3-4GB RAM, a Samsung Exynos processor, LTE, 20.7 mega-pixel main camera and a built-in fingerprint scanner.
The MX4 Pro will be the second phone to launch this year from Meizu, and should be followed by an additional 2 devices.
Well, after the bad news (I mean, Nexus @ $600), this is a refreshing news 🙂 (somehow)
Yes but the nexus 6 specs are more high-end.
I doubt the Meizu MX4 Pro will cost much less. Maybe around the 2299-2499 yuan range and this does not includes shipping costs, resellers markup fee and more.

You doubt it will get Ubuntu when goes to market in November or you doubt it will get Ubuntu it all?
There are rumors that Ubuntu firmware for mx4 pro will be based on Ubuntu 14.10 and will be available some time in December.
Doubt we will see Ubuntu for Meizu MX4 or MX4 Pro this year. It is def in the works though, just can’t see it happening so soon.
Man, i wish that the rumored button didn’t exist, ruins the deisgn
