VR Goggles are something which we have seen companies dabble in over the past few months with ideas ranging from DIY cardboard options to this Oppo headset.
Oppo fans will be well aware that the Oppo N3, the next rotating camera phone from the Chinese phone maker, will be launched on the 29th October but could a pair of VR goggles also be on the cards.
As is common with this type of leak, the original photo of the purported Oppo virtual reality headset was first seen on Weibo. The Oppo branded device is likely suitable for flagship phone like the Oppo Find 7 and the N3, but will we actually see them in the shops?
As Oppo are know for their interesting media invitations, this headset could simply be a cheap media gift that they plan to giveaway during the N3 launch in Singapore.
However if Oppo were to launch a product like this, and similar to the one Samsung are offering, would you be likely to pick up a pair?
A phone dock is not a VR headset or googles or w/e you want to call it, it’s a stupid dock ,a very very poor idea and they all need to stop..
Way to make the worst product possible just because it’s easy. They (Samsung, Oppo and everybody else) should either make an actual product or stay out of it.
you know that occulus DK2 has a note 3 screen in it. so actually samsung gear vr has better screen when yoou but note 4 in it. same thing would be with that oppo.
i’d take something , that gives me a way to enjoy a movie and work on a pc having an analogue of 42″ tv before my eyes 🙂
