As the original Oppo N1 was such an innovative phone it has had us wondering just what the Oppo N3 will bring to the table in the way of new features. One rumour suggests s ‘smart’ motorised camera.
Earlier this month we posted the below video of the Oppo N3. The short video simply shows the movement of the camera pod on the new phone. At first we believed this to be a simple animation that shows the range of movement, but now we believe it might actually be showing us the motorised camera pod on the phone.
On Chinese tech sites this morning, sources have been spilling the beans stating that the Oppo N3 will use a planetary gear and electronic motor that can move the camera pod automatically.
You might be wondering what benefit a motorised camera pod would bring, well one suggest is that the pod be ‘smart’ and able to track moment, another idea is that the N3 will use the feature to make perfect panoramic photos.
In addition to the rotating camera, the N3 is also believed to have a fingerprint scanner, 16 mega-pixel camera, and Snapdragon processor. The N3 will launch in Beijing on 29th October.
Electric motor one more thing to break?
The side headphone jack…. that alone is a major deal-breaker for most unless you have an L-shaped connector…. or don’t use headphones at all.
