Chinese phone customers will have their choices cut out this week with the Huawei Honor 4X, Oppo N3 and now the next batch of IUNI U3 phones going on sale.

Of the 3 phones to be released this week, the IUNI U3 is the phone which sits in the middle of the pack in terms of price, but also has a throne of its own among the other flagship phones on sale now (and dare we say the near future too).

IUNI’s 2nd phone to date, the IUNI U3, costs only 2000 Yuan in China yet boasts a 5.5-inch 2K display, 3GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel main camera, OIS, 32GB internal memory, ultra-pixel main camera and a 3000mAh battery.

The next batch of phones which will be released at 10am on October 29th will be available in either black or white. A release date for the signature green model has not been announced.

It’s not the release that’s the problem, but getting hold of one.

Hi Andi – Is Google Play available either from IUNI or through a hand-rolled solution? Any ROM improvements to the camera performance since the original review? Thanks!
