Xiaomi’s next generation flagship Redmi smartphone is shaping up quite nicely according to sources.
Spotted in hands on spy photos, in the past few weeks, the next generation Xiaomi Redmi will be a more powerful and feature packed model that currently available from the entry-level range.
Sources who say they have contacts at supply chains at Xiaomi believe that the new Redmi phone will be powered by a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octacore chipset with 2GB RAM and a 13 mega-pixel main camera.
The phone could also be the first FHD Xiaomi Redmi version with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 panel. Dual SIM support, 4G LTE and a large 3500mAh battery are also details that are thought to come on the 1499 Yuan phone.
Current Xiaomi Redmi models are officially available in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and India. Let’s hope more countries will be added once the new phone becomes official.
