Exclusive: Elephone P5000 will boast 5650mAh battery

It has been revealed today that Elephone are getting in on the endurance phone market with the all new Elephone P5000 with huge battery.

Large battery phones are carving out a niche for themselves and Chinese phone manufacturers are right there at the front of the surge. The latest to launch will be from Elephone and although named the P5000 will have a battery size closer to 6000mAh.

According to news posted on the Elephone blog, the Elephant P5000 will have a battery size of 5650mAh which has enough power inside to power the phone and act as a powerbank to charge other devices.

Interestingly Elephone will be asking fans to help spec the P5000 and will open an official forum on 11th November where fans can discuss what they hope the phone to have in terms of hardware.

10 bucks everyone willgo for the MT6595 at least. If such a phone can come with the MT6595, it will be a joy to have and use too.

        6795 might be better than the 6595 but definitely not the 6732/6752. 6595 is better than the other ones. Check out benchmarks and user experience.

  The P6000 does not necessarily have a bigger battery. The P4000 also only has 2850 mAh even though the P3000 has 3150 mAh. So its not really an indicator. 😉

All these idiots wanting FHD or 2K displays… LOL Then the 5650 mAh is no use you low morons. As if you see a difference to 720p and 2K in everyday use… LOL Eagle eyes 😉 Some people just love the high resolution placebo to feel important. :rolleyes
Really good would be:
5 inch screen with 720p with very good luminance and high contrast
MTK MT6595 with focus on low power, not gaming idiot kiddies
3GB RAM
2G/3G4G all Quadband covering all frequencies
Rear camera with 13 -20 MP camera with AF, strong flash and OIS
Front camera with 8 MP and AF
Gorilla or Sapphire glass
Dual SIM (MUST!!!!)
SD Card Slot with at least 64GB support
Multicolour Notification LED
Thin bezels
But with all these features you can reckon with a price beyond $350…. :/

Few of the ideas that I might add to the nice specs by other readers would be
DUAL BOOT ROM.
I mean to have two different “flavours” or operating systems that might give the user the feel of two phones without investing in two. Does anyone else find it interesting?
SAPPHIRE GLASS 1080P DISPLAY BUT 4K VIDEO RECORDING.
As of now, 2K display is attractive but its way more power consuming to have 2K display. So maybe Retina screen with 441 dpi FHD should suffice. to be power efficient, but have a camera that can take 4K videos that might be an interesting and at par with other phones as of now. If I am to be thinking futuristic,
SECOND E-INK DISPLAY
I might think of dual display, The back display being E-ink display
This display can be used to save power of the phone and do some basic work (except gaming and other high end things) like checking emails, or using social networking
the advantage of this display would be that it can help save power.
Having this e-ink display might require either fixed non user replacable battery OR have a slot /tray for battery and a Sim tray, that might add to the cost, but then it would be something new that no one has.

Huge removable Battery that would be the best asset because some places are far from service centers that some times would take the retail store, months to return the phone.
