OnePlus Co-Founder, Carl Pei, has confirmed that the new brand has managed sales of a staggering 500,000 units.
Despite the early invitation system and now the pre-order system, the OnePlus One is selling like hot cakes with 500,000 phones already finding homes for themselves. Now you might find that number hard to swallow, but we have to assume that this is total sales including those available in and from China where the supply has been much steadier and easier to get hold of.

Pei also confirmed that the company is making a little profit on each phone and hopes to sell a million phones before the end of the year.
Future plans for the brand include specialised accessories, lifestyle products and software services, areas which the company hope they can make most of their money.

OnePlus One ..how to make it even more popular..add dual SIM version…and achieve the 1 million Sale quicker.
You know how you can sell a million of them by the end of the year how about you make it so we can actually buy the damn phone.
You can sell many phones and you can produce and ship the phone several weeks later (between 4 and 7 weeks it’s current timming for serve the OPO phone, after customer paid at pre-order system). Given this and considering that OPO started selling the phone last June (hence carry only five months on the market), I see feasible to sell 1 million units by the end of the year, a different thing is when you will recive the phone effectively
Not to mention that online resellers usually buy up most of the stock and then they sell them to us at jacked up prices.
