OnePlus One is the next phone to get a Yunos ROM

Alibaba have really stepped up with the launch of their Yunos operating system with partnerships with Meizu and Philips already arranged, now OnePlus One users will be able to test out the alternate ROM too.

Alibaba have played around in the Android phone market for years now. In the past we have seen the company launch their own OS, and even a few phones, but neither really captured the attention of fans.

The latest instalment of Yunos however is a major turning point for the young ROM. Currently Meizu and Phillips have phones running the alternate ROM, and from today OnePlus One users can also download the ROM and give it a whirl.

Yunos is primarily designed as an operating system for Chinese users, and although the ROM is based on Android Kitkat, the Google services that many international smartphones users need, have been removed.

Still, if you wanted to download Yunos on your OnePlus One you can download the ROM via the official Yunos forums here.
