This time next week we should have the Meizu MX4 Pro in our hands, and thanks to Jack Wong we can look forward to the glow of an ultra high resolution 2K display!
The rumours have long said that the Meizu MX4 Pro would use a high resolution 2K display, and today they seem to have been confirmed by Meizu’s own Jack Wong and his Weibo account. Jack Wong plays by his own rules when it comes to keeping details hidden, and while the marketing team of Meizu might have wanted to keep the screen resolution a mystery, JW went ahead with confirmation.
There are only very few Android smartphones which use a 2K QHD display (Vivo Xplay 3S, Moto Droid Turbo), so the MX4 Pro will be joining and elite band of smartphones with this high resolution panel.
Gizchina News of the week
Most flagship phone currently use a 1920 x 1080 FHD display (Oppo Find 7, Vivo Xshot, OnePlus One) and they are fine, but cramming in even more pixels means an even crisper and clearer image and especially helps to make text pop off the screen.
The Meizu MX4 Pro will be unveiled in Beijing on 19th November and is believed to have a Samsung Exynos processor, 20.7 mega-pixel camera and advanced Hifi audio.
