Updated Lenovo Vibe X2 X2Pt5 launching soon

Lenovo haven’t wasted anytime producing a slightly updated version of the Lenovo Vibe X2. Codenamed the Lenovo X2 X2Pt5, the phone has already received a network license and is poised for a launch in China.

The original, and not so old, Lenovo Vibe X2 has already been updated with the new Lenovo Vibe X2Pt5, a device which was spotted over on the TENAA database earlier today. The current Vibe X2 is a stylish thin phone measuring in at 7.3mm, where as the newer model has been on a diet and lost 0.5mm and comes in at just 6.8mm.

According to the documents the updated device has an octacore processor running at 1.5Ghz, likely the MT6595M chipset, with 2GB RAM and LTE support for FDD-LTE. The phone also runs on WCDMA, GSM, China TD networks and has a 13 mega-pixel camera and Android 4.4 Kitkat.

The current phone is on sale in China, India and a few other markets, so expect to see the Lenovo Vibe X2Pt5 to arrive overseas soon.

    When is the 5.5″ Vibe Z2 coming out? It was announced at the same time yet the X2 is already being updated.
