Elephone have posted actual photos of their Elephone P6000 today along with more details of the specs and price.
Elephone can’t be accused of beautiful design, but they can’t be accused of moving slowly either. Not long after posting that they were working on a new model called the P6000, actual images of the phone have now shown up online.
Actually, I got to see this phone in the flesh last Friday while I was in Shenzhen so can confirm that is is real and in development. I can also tell you that the rear of the phone is very similar in design to the Xiaomi Mi2.
Gizchina News of the week
Elephone are hoping the P6000 will be the first 64bit phone to launch with the new quad-core MT6732 chipset, and from my meeting with them it sounds like it will be released sometime next month. The quad core chip will be supported by 2GB RAM, and there is LTE and a 13 mega-pixel camera in there too.
Elephone say that the P6000 will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop, but it is most likely to ship with Android 4.4 Kitkat to start with. Pricing will be competitive which estimates between $170 – $190.
WTF that’s a ZTE Nubia Z7!
Indeed, ZTE nubia series clone.
Thank you ZTE for ideas to Elephone.
Elephone is brand know as low quailty phones brand….just remember P2000 model…
i liked it whats the dimsions in mm
finally a phone starring mediatek’s new quad core processor. don’t think it looks like a nubia that much .. it’s just plain and boring design with a meizu circle in the center. Anyway as long as it’s above 4.8 inches i’m not interested in the phone 🙂
