Lovers of the Xiaomi Mi4 who need 4G LTE, will be happy to learn the FDD-LTE version of the flagship phone is scheduled for release.
The Xiaomi Mi4 has so far launched in White and Black version and with 3G WCDMA, but now it is the turn of the LTE equipped version, and more importantly the FDD-LTE version. If you are unsure of the difference in LTE on Chinese phones then let me explain it quickly for you.
TDD-LTE is an LTE version designed specifically for use on China Mobiles LTE networks and is available only in China. FDD-LTE is the more universal version of LTE and used by China Unicom and many European carriers.
In 6 days Chinese customers will be able to order the Mi4 FDD-LTE, with resellers likely to get stock ready for some time after Christmas.
If you haven’t already done so, then check out our full review of the Xiaomi Mi4 here.

Hi Andy. is this for the 64gb version to?
So far, WCDMA black is only 16gb. So it might be the case, that regarding black 64 FD-LTE , we will have to wait a tad longer.
