More TENAA news today as Koobee get their quad-core, 64bit phone approved for sale in China.

Koobee remain to be a popular brand in China, but have struggled to gain traction in international markets. The Koobee M5 is another quality offering from the phone maker which will ship with a quad-core, 64bit chipset from Mediatek with LTE support.

The 5-inch 720p HD phone will come with support for both FDD-LTE and TD-LTE networks, and will more than likely have space for dual SIM in it’s single SIM tray.

Gizchina News of the week

Interestingly the rear of the M5 has (what looks like) dual speakers across the back panel in similar locations as those found on the large screen Vivo Xplay 3S phablet. Inside a 1.5Ghz processor and 8GB internal memory are built-in and although RAM isn’t mentioned we can guess that just 1GB will be included.

The rear camera on the phone is an 8 mega-pixel shooter, with a 5 mega-pixel sensor up front. Android 4.4.4 Kitkat is loaded on the phone as standard.
