Bird have released real images of their 64bit iPhone 6 clone after getting official TENAA certification earlier this month.
Chinese phone makers arenβt letting the iPhone 6 get away lightly, with clones of the latest iOS phone hitting the market from small brands and even giants like Lenovo! So far though these clones have either been low-end or using out of date hardware, so it makes a refreshing change to see a clone with a more up to date spec (thatβs not to say we would recommend buying a knock off).
The Bird L9 runs a 1.5Ghz MT6732 chipset which offers a performance update de to the 64bit architecture and LTE support. The phone also boasts a 4.7-inch 720p display (more than enough at this size), Android 4.4 and a 13 mega-pixel rear camera.
At 7.8mm the phone is hardly the thinnest in the world, which makes us wonder why only an 1820mAh battery could be fitted in the body, but at least it is a removable battery.
Pricing is rather high for a knock off at 1699 Yuan in China, thatβs double a Redmi, and around 700 Yuan more than the rumoured price of the new Meizu phone.

Haha, they are insane with this price π Good luck π
Maybe it’s made out of real gold.

Hi Andy, hope you don’t mind me bumping an old thread I have just seen that fastcardtech are offering the phone at $129.99 or +$10 for 5.5″ seems very cheap, just wondered if you can get your hands on one for a review? and if you do can you check the specs etc and see if it has all of the components they advise or if they are just spoofing the specs etc. I am wary of anything that comes from fastcardtech and the 2 reviews/questions on the phone on their site appear to be written in chinglish rather than american english π

That’s the wrong version (the Pro), it’s the 4.7″ Plus version that gets 64bit for extra $80, so a high $209.99. Confusingly the 5.5″ Plus uses the old MTK6582, hence only $10 extra over similar specced Pro.
