As the phone market saturates so does is the reseller community surrounding them, and acquisitions like the one between Efox and Antelife are going to become more common.
According to news in China, online reseller Efox (or at least the company behind the Efox called Aukey) brand, have bought Antelife and are currently restructuring the two companies.
Update: We will be interviewing Aukey bosses to see how they plan to improve Antelife. If you have questions please let us know and we will try to get them answered.
Efox are generally known in Germany as the main reseller of Chinese phones, but the company also has an English site (Coolicool) that deals with other markets. The acquisition of Antelife should strengthen Efox’s position in Spain, where the company claimed to have a warehouse located.
News of the acquisition is only available in Chinese for now, but hopefully Efox will eventually make some official comment about the news soon.
So what does this mean for Antelife customers? Well we have heard reports of some Antelife customers waiting on phones and other electronics to be shipped, we don’t know if this buy out news is related to shipping delays or not, but hope it all gets cleared up soon.
Hmm, I ordered a Redmi Note on December 1st at Antelife and it is still not shipped! What should I do?
You should contact them, it’s taking too long. I ordered my Xiaomi Note from to2c on November 29th, they shipped it on December 4th – and I am already holding it in my hands.
I already e-mailed them twice. The second time I got a reply (after a few days) and they told me they were very busy and did not have enough in stock. They asked me to wait a few more days. That was 6 days ago…
This “we didn’t have enough” excuse is crazy. I’d get my money back and order from someone else.
Their exact words were “I am really sorry for the delay. now our stock cannot cover all the orders, as the phone is hot sale. and we are restocking it these days.
it will come in stock later. would you please kindly wait for it several days?
And I already marked urgent on your order. the warehouse will send the order at great priority.”
I’ve e-mailed them again today. If I don’t get a satisfactory response I’m going to try to get my money back…
It has finally been shipped a few days ago and it has already arrived in my home country The Netherlands 🙂 So I’m glad I had the patience to wait a little longer… But it wasn’t a very good experience, I have to say…

Yes, I received it on December 30th. It took them almost a month to ship it.

By the way, I have to say, they even gave me 30 dollars back plus a 20 dollars coupon because I paid extra for customs insurance with my order (I unfortunately had to pay about 50 dollars when the phone was delivered to my door). I already received the money in my Paypal account (yesterday) and the coupon. So, after all, I’m still happy with Antelife, even though it took them a very long time to ship my phone.
Now, these are some great news! 🙂 Well, that’s the least thing they could have done after letting you wait for so long 🙂 Nice!
