No.1 is one of those Chinese manufacturers which simply refuses to budge. They’ve been making clones since quite a while, and from the looks of it, the company’s gotten quite good at it. They’ve released a flurry of clones in the past few weeks, including, but not limited to a clone of the Xiaomi Mi 4, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Gear smartwatch, etc.
We’re in the process of testing some of these clones, and will shortly be back with reviews. Meanwhile, lets talk about what’s been going on at the No.1 camps lately.
No.1 X1 Rugged Waterproof Phone
Although we don’t often talk about such phones here at GizChina, but there’s a market for phones that don’t look as pretty, but can take a beating… some refer to them as the Bear Grylls of phones. No.1 have their own take of this in the form of the X1. It comes with a rather modest specifications set, but the beauty of this phone lies in the fact that it is (claimed to be) IP-68 certified. This means that the phone will not only be able to take a beating, but also give you the freedom to use the phone in wet conditions.
Other than that, it’s your usual MediaTek MT6582 phone… but with a rather large capacity 5800mAh battery. It has a 5-inch screen with a 1280 x 720p resolution, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera and a 5 mega-pixel front camera.
You can find more info about the device on the official No.1 website.
No.1 Note 4 (and Note 4+)
So as you would’ve guessed from the name, the Note 4 and the Note 4+ are clones of the current premier Samsung phablet. While the lower spec’d of the lot, the No.1 Note 4 comes with a quad-core processor, the Note 4+ comes with exactly the same chassis design, but gets an upgrade to an octa-core processor — the MediaTek MT6592. Sadly, for heavy multitaskers, both phones come with just 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM. That said, we’ve been testing the quad-core version and we have to admit that we’ve developed a liking for it already.

Have your say
Have you ever owned a cloned phone before? If yes, which one? If no, would you consider purchasing one?
With cloned phones getting better and better each year, many are but left made to consider such phones, even with the obvious inspiration. Do let us know what you think about the phones that we talked about here, and cloned phones in general.
5800mAh battery!?! Damn. If it didn’t look like a log, I would’ve bought it. Actually, that’s something I’d like to see. A thick phone with an ergonomic and sleek design, a huge battery and decent processor. That would fly off the shelves. The closest thing so far has been the ThL 5000, and that wasn’t really marketed well enough.
Innos d10 has 6000mAh battery…Philips and gionee also has high capacity battery
also, rugegd phone usually has high capacity.there is aother Projector phone which has 5000mah battery too
