Zopo’s resurrecting itself on the scene with the ZP920, which you probably know very well by now. However, details about the device have surfaced online ahead of launch, pointing at a device that could very well be what many have been looking forward to: single-handed usage, 64-bit SoC and more!
Most Chinese phones. especially the MediaTek powered ones, hardly offer decent WiFi performance, forget 5GHz WiFi support. However, the ZP920 seems like a phone on a mission, and with 2.4GHz + 5GHz WiFi, the device promises some fast WiFi connectivity. Thanks to a 5.2-inch display, the ZP920 will be smaller than most 5.5-inch phablets that have released through the year, and will please those that prefer using their phone with just one hand.
The star of the ZP920 show however will be the MediaTek MT6752 64-bit SoC — same as the Meizu m1 note — which will be paired with 2GB of RAM on the phone. Not just that, the ZP920 gets our hopes high with a 13.2 mega-pixel Sony camera, which will have a 5 element lens arrangement. Zopo’s also keen on pleasing you selfie lovers, with an 8 mega-pixel front camera that boasts an impressive f/2.0 aperture.
Gizchina News of the week
Design wise, the ZP920 does look pretty, but with a hint of the ever so popular iNew V3, if you’ve ever seen one. Even then, it is original enough to catch the fancy of many a buyer. It’s pretty with brains, as they say; the ZP920 also offers 4G LTE connectivity, something which we soon hope will be standard for every phone coming from China.
What do you think about the ZP920? Would you prefer it over the Meizu m1 note? If you’re wondering about the price of this one, Geekbuying have it for $279.99 on pre-order right now, just so you get a rough idea.
Thanks for the tip Mario!
