We don’t get to cover Acer phones all that often, so it is a treat to post about the Liquid Z410 launched at CES this year with new MTK processor.
Acer and Asus are two smartphone makers who tend to attempt to make a splash at the start of the year, and by the end of it haven’t really gone on to really make a ripple.
This year Asus have beefed up their line with the Zenfone 2 and Zoom (which I really would like to test), and Acer too has added something new to their range.
The Acer Z410 is ready to go on sale in the US, and boasts a 64bit Mediatek chipset. The MT6732 in the mid-range Acer is the lower spec quad-core chip, but offers simile dual LTE features as the more desirable MT6752.

Specs have been kept modest to retain a low US retail price of only $155 which is a bargain for an unlocked phone State side. Hardware included a 4.5-inch 960 x 540 display, 5 mega-pixel rear camera, 2 mega-pixel front, but the highlight has to be dual front facing speakers with DTS sound.
Anyone in the US wanting to get hold of the Acer Z410 will need to wait until March. There is no mention of a European launch date yet.
