We think it is pretty safe to assume that Meizu are launching a 5-inch m1 mini phone to complement the larger 5.5-inch note. Here is the latest spy photo along with more details.
Chinese tech sites are reporting the appearance of a smaller blue shell with Meizu branding on that appears similar to the Meizu m1 note. We feel pretty confident that this is the 5-inch Meizu m1 mini (a name we are just using as a place holder).
Shown next to a pen, the new m1 phone is much more compact and closer in size to the previous Meizu MX3 which sported a 5.1-inch display, great news for lovers of smaller phones.

That’s about all we know for certain, but we can make a good attempt at guessing the rest of the hardware.
It seems highly likely the 5-inch m1 mini will have a 1920 x 1080 FHD display, get the same unibody construction as the m1 note, 2GB RAM and a 64bit Mediatek processor. Whether the mini will receive the same octacore MT6752 as the note or the lower speed quad-core MT6732 we are not sure. Either dual SIM LTE is going to be part of the package.
Pricing has got to be below 999 Yuan, and we believe could be as little as 699 Yuan! A price point Xiaomi surely do not want to share.

If it gets a FullHD display, then it has to be the 6752 because the 6732 only supports 720p displays, afaik.
i dont need dual sim, 720 display in enough, 2gb is must, mtk6752 is must and big battery- for 5′ at least 2500.
GPS with GLONASS and Beidou.
pack this with price of 699 Yuan, and i will buy 3 of them.
jiayu gives 3,000 mAh battery to their phones, so do the Math.
This is a budget phone, it won’t have full hd display at only 5″
I think 720p MT6732 2gb ram and about $130 for lowest storage capacity
it will be with EU lte support yet?
