ZTE launch ZTE Blade S6 with SD 615 for $260

While Meizu were having fun in Beijing with the launch of the m1, ZTE were also busy releasing details of their ZTE Blade S6.

The ZTE Blade S6 had been leaked to us in spy photos a few weeks ago, but now the phone is official as are its specifications and pricing.

ZTE have created the Blade S6 as a low-cost, yet powerful phone with a stylish design. We can’t help but feel they have tripped up a little here though as the design is a reproduction of the iPhone 6, and the Snapdragon 615 chipset isn’t the most powerful chip for mid-range phones any longer.

Gizchina News of the week

The device boasts 2GB RAM, 5-inch 720p display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera and 2400mAh battery. The phone also comes with 16GB internal memory, 5 mega-pixel front camera and ZTE’s own Mifavour UI ROM.

Pricing is around 2000 Yuan which is roughly $260 and it sounds as though ZTE will be working with Ebay, Amazon and other online resellers to offer the phone internationally.

To expensive. ..for same money you can buy some of curent flagships or last years brand name flagships (eg. LG G2) with much better spec.
    but, it looks nice

agreed. i’m using a G2 now and its pretty terrific. i bought it brand new unlocked for $250 about 6 months ago. hard to justify taking a chance on these unknowns

Why the most of these phones have to mimic iPhone?
I hate the circle button imitation on these Chinese phones.
This phone have other similarity too, but this circle button thing found on many phones.

I don’t want a phone to look like a cheap copy of something.
I would like a phone that has it’s own style.

I would like to go for an SD 615 or MT6752 phone with 2GB RAM, but all has these problems.

Well I love the circle button and it doesn’t look too much like an iphone on my Nubia z7.

I think this is no match to their own sub-brand label Nubia Z7 mini. That phone comes with better specs at an almost similar price.
