Ungly! I prefer Meizu M1 note or Asus Zenfone 2.
I’m liking it more and more! It seems to have everything I want, textured back cover is more attractive and practical than the shiny polycarbonate of most phones, and the network bands are sensible for most markets. Good size battery too.
I’d have a hard time choosing between this and the Dakele 3.
I really like it too, but the camera is an unknown (hopefully an OV unit, not something else interpolated), but still I think it will be the Dakele 3 for me, though I guess at quite a higher price.
We’ll have to wait for a proper review, but if ecoo and Elephone are linked in some way, it may turn out to be a disappointment and very late getting to market…
Meanwhile, Dakele only seem to be interested in the Chinese market as the 3 will only work on China’s 3G and 4G networks at the moment. Hopefully they’ll make an international version too.
The Dakele was originally launched early December, but a few days ago there was a flurry of new news stories about it, don’t know if that indicates a new international version or just original delayed.
This is a bit “clunky” but funny!

Also says near the end that it’s only available in China mainland.
I have the phone for 2 weeks now. Still haven’t figured out what sensor they use but I can tell you that the photo’s made by this device are very good! 🙂
The whole phone is actually pretty good. Didn’t expect the fingerprint scanner to work well but it does a great job!
