Mediatek are on a roll with their 64bit chips and this is benefiting low-cost phone makers such as ECOO who have posted a score of over 40,000 points for their Ecoo E04 Aurora.
The Ecoo E04 is on presale now, and will cost $210 once it is in stock and on sale internationally. There is a lot of competition at this price, so Ecoo have loaded their phone with a 3000mAh battery, 2GB RAM, 64bit MT6752 processor, 5.5-inch FHD display and even a fingerprint scanner on the front.
Gizchina News of the week
With those specifications the Ecoo E04 is on par with the JiaYu S3, Elephone P7000 and the iOcean M6752 Rock (at least on paper).
We have already seen some impressive benchmarks from some of the other MT6752 phones over the past weeks, and now Ecoo are in on the action to with a score of 40,199 on Antutu. The score is really very good, but what we would like to see are some other results from Geekbench, GFXbench, Vellamo etc to see how well optimised the Ecoo ROM is and how it really compares to rival phones.
Yep a lot of important missing sensors and with still big price this phone has.
Here are the missing sensors:
No G-sensor
No Gyro
No Linear Accereration
No Rotation Vector
So why is it still this highly overpriced ?
Jiayu is more complete!
Like most of the buyers will do, first buy, then complain!
According to the official website Ecoo Aurora has:
Light-sensor
Proximity sensor
G-sensor
And maybe other things too, they don’t seem to give out a lot of details.

EDIT 25-02-2015: I have the phone now and it has all of these sensors
You can confirm, for sure, that the ECOO 04 has Gyroscope sensor? It´s that I saw a information of antutu that says that he do not have.
It is important for me because I wanted to buy this phone, but I need that he has Gyroscope, for a measurement program that I use. Thank you
I cannot confirm it and all Gyroscope apps (three) say the phone doesn’t have one. I did use a drive game that way though…
