The low-cost JiaYu F2 is official and coming to stores soon, and in a range of colours to choose from.
The JiaYu F2 is a 599 Yuan Android smartphone packing a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, Sony rear camera, LTE and 720p display. The phone might not rock a newer 64bit MT6732 chip, but as a whole the phone is pretty much a bargain for anyone wanting LTE, more memory and a big 3000mAh battery.
Gizchina News of the week
JiaYu have announced the phone in China and reveal it will be available to buy very soon in either standard black or white, plus grey, metallic blue and pink. The colour options are more suble to the bright colour options found on the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Meizu m1 note which you may or may not like.
The JiaYu F2 should launch in China ahead of the Chinese New Year and if we are lucky could be found in reseller sites ahead of March.
Jiayu is losing her edge over the other companies with this phone. They used to be the only company manufacturing one handed phones so they were pretty much the one way street for those interested for that kind of thing (one handed use on the cheap). Both G2F, G4 and G5 can easily be used one handed, due to the slim bezels no less, without skimming on the specs front (for their time)
This F2 impressed me because of overall specs, but actually could be a 4.7″ phone, and it would be awesome!
Indeed 4.7 plus slimmer bezels would had made a world of difference. Now it’s a no go, less than 300 ppi, bad ergonomics, etc. Still a great phone, but jiayu has better .
