Chinese phone makers large and small will be attending MWC, Ulefone will be there too and so could their new top of the range Ulefone Dare N1.
So far we have heard that Gionee, THL, Huawei and other Chinese phone makers intend to be at MWC in Barcelona this year, and so too could phone maker Ulefone. According to sources at the company Ulefone were meant to release a new phone at CES however decided MWC would be a better bet for them.
Gizchina News of the week
As far as specifications go the device will come equipped with a fingerprint scanner, between 2-3GB RAM, 16BG internal storage, an octacore Mediatek processor, 5.5-inch display and run a stock Android 5.0 operating system. Android 5.0 would also suggest that we will see a modern 64bit MTK chip with native LTE support.
The render above is believed to be of the Ulefone Dare N1, a device which looks like a more rounded, and dare I say more modern, OnePlus One.
Well, this looks nice but let’s see what the real phone would look like. Elephone and Jiayu has taught us that lesson recently
I agree, I was particularly disappointed with Elephone and the P3000s problems, followed by the poor design of the much anticipated P7000.
I think and hope Ulefone have learned a few hard lessons recently, PR wise, just hope they have the resources to pull this off. It has potential…
Hope this time they do not “Dare” to trick “N1” … I mean no one with specs of the phone 🙂
Couldn’t have put it better myself! Good one! Too much trickery and tinkering going on, Chinese style 🙂
LOL,… yeah true, interesting phone. I’d like to see the real thing hope it comes to MWC.
That’s without the rotating camera, of course!
Look like opo
Looks really good and slim, wonder what the battery capacity is?? Ulefone really seem to be going for it at the moment.
It may look good, but does it perform well & is durable to last. Thats what I want to know, otherwise Jiayu S3 here I come.
u might wanna put off buying that. its camera SUCKS at night shots and u should read the S3 review at this site if u havent already!
if ur NOT in a hurry , wait till March , when elephone p7000 comes out, by then you’ll have a diverse range to choose and compare, you might find a better phone then. Also , wait for a full fledged Ecoo Aurora Review , its got a 16 mp shooter and is about $10 cheaper than jiayu s3.
also watch out for the review on IOcean Rock.
The reviews will give you a better idea , of what to buy. that way you’ll be able to weigh the pros and cons of each phone and possibly find a better night shooter.
But if ure in a hurry and arent a camera holic , go for S3.
Not in a hurry at all. Primarily like a phone in April, but can wait until June/July. As I would then like to keep whichever phone until Q4 2016 (ideally) before then changing to maybe a more premium brand (either Xiaomi Mi6 or OnePlus Three). Thats the plan anyway.
Any assistance with choice for a phone in the coming months would be greatly appreciated.
like i said , wait for the reviews. They really open your eyes and bring out the tiniest kinks in even the most renowned phones. I myself will be ordering a phone for the first time from China , but that’ll have to wait till Q4 2015 or Q1 2016.
Fair enough, sounds sensible.
Itx tutor has just posted a good review on a test version of the Ecoo Aurora. It seems pretty good, but the camera pixel density is interpolated, not true 16mp and 8mp. Also not sure of the battery capacity, it seems OK but Cpuz only measure it as 1000mah.
He stresses it is a test version tho, so maybe final production models will be better.
interpolated cameras shout “corporate SCAM” at the top of their lungs. If that is indeed the case , i’ll be very disappointed with ecoo.
CPU-Z always screws up battery capacities. My old Xiaomi Mi3 was rated as having a 1490mAh battery.
well it’s not very exciting if you already have a Be Pro.
exact same size
maybe an extra gig of ram
four more cores and faster clock
same storage
same lollipop
same LTE
probably about $50 more expensive.
I would have been more interested to see a larger size. The 7-inch dual-sim Ulefone I also have is a very difficult size to find…definitely waiting for their upgrade of that form factor.
