UMi to release UMi Tool for firmware updates and customisations

UMi plan to release a UMi Tool to help with the installation of updates, and custom firmware.

UMi are working on a new tool to help aid users of the UMi Zero install updates to their phones. The UMi Tool is currently in beta testing and will allow fans to easily update their phones to the latest firmware options without the need to download and install manually.

The tool will also let users search and download custom user interface to the UMi Zero such as MIUI and possibly EMUI and Vibe UI. We are waiting for more details of the tool and the release and will bring you details of when it is launched.

    i have this zero. the screen is great ! and phone is build from a good materials.
    but i will sale it to one friend and ill buy or jiayu s3 OR meitzu m1 note.

    Will the also release the source code for the kernel ? This is what the GPL requires them to do and it would help a lot.

    Too bad for UMI Zero.
    Too much refunds.
    The refunded devices will be resold (according to their email).

    The UMI Zero is a great device but it was unusable because of all the buggy software. I sold it before all the updates were coming, for me they came too late.

    I do have trust in the UMI Zero now. They really seem to care about the software.
