KingZone is a popular Chinese phone manufacture, especially in Europe. The company makes some good phones, albeit more expensive than other similar devices from Chinese makers.
Another phone from the company just went on sale — the KingZone N3 Plus. The phone is powered by the impressive MediaTek MT6732 64-bit chipset (the same SoC that powers the Elephone P6000), and has the same amount of RAM as the P6000 as well — 2GB. As you might have already made out from the name, the N3 Plus is an upgrade to the original KingZone N3 (review).
Gizchina News of the week
A 5-inch 720p screen sits on top of the aforementioned internals on the N3 Plus. On the camera segment, the phone boasts of a 13 mega-pixel rear sensor and an 8 mega-pixel front, to make for an impressive (sounding) repertoire. Other than that, the phone has a 2500mAh battery, dual SIM support and a rather sleek design.
Another feature that’s certainly getting popular in Chinese phones is fingerprint recognition, which the KingZone N3 Plus supports along with NFC (if you manage to find a use case for it, that is). In all, the phone looks like a VFM affair and can be had from GearBest for US$160 with free shipping.

The Kingzone N3 original was a consideration for me to buy as it supports all major 4G frequencies in the UK but I decided to wait for the Jiayu S3. I really wanted a 5 inch or smaller screen with one of the new 64 bit soc’s. If the N3 Plus was around 2 weeks ago I would have bought it but I have already ordered the S3
It was available for the K1, I’m sure someone will port it to this one too.
Hi mate, I read your comments most of the time and I was wondering if you definitely recommend Kingzone (good community to resolve issues, ROM updates) and its upgraded N3 Plus. I need to buy a new device and I am planning to get one in the following list:
Meizu M1 Mini (with 2GB RAM)
Kingzone N3 Plus
Redmi 2 Enhanced (with 2GB RAM)
IUNI U2
Expensive one: Xiaomi MI4 Black (only 16GB version is available but wondering if storage will be enough)
Which device should I buy? Your help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Jan
All depends on what you use a phone for. Do you want a really good camera? Do you want to play the most demanding games? Do you want to pay a certain amount? Do you have a preferred screen size?
Sorry mate, I should have precised that in my initial message. Well I would use the device for phone calls of course, internet and maybe gaming (like FIFA but I am not really sure, I am not a gamer). I want a decent camera, we never know it might be useful. My preferred screen size would be something from 4,7 to 5,2 inch (width around 72mm max), a strong battery replaceable would be great but hard to find these days.
My budget is maximum 300€ but I would prefer to save money too.
It will be my first intelligent phone.
Thanks.
