In a press release posted today, LeTV have announced that it’s upcoming Android phone will use tactile feedback tech to allow users to ‘feel’ video.
Immersion Corporation and LeTV have signed an agreement that will see TouchSense Engage technology incorporated into an upcoming LeTV mobile phone. TouchSense Engage is a technology that creates a haptic style feedback through your phone which matches the onscreen action of a movie. The system has been used on the Xiaomi Mi3, Mi4 and Meizu MX4 already, although personally I have never used it.
LeTV plan to use the Expendables 3 to demo the tactile feedback system when they launch their upcoming mobile phones. Imagine feeling the shock of explosions or rattle of machine gun fire rather than just seeing and hearing it.
Gizchina News of the week
The press release (here) doesn’t tell us when we can expect the launch of the LeTV mobile or what other specs to expect, however other leaks suggest up to 3 models will be announced sporting either the Snapdragon 810 or Mediatek MT6795 chipsets. More news is likely to be announced after the Chinese Spring Festival.

For price, sure will be equiped with MT6795…if Qualcomm’s 810 price not go down fast, especially, since started cancellations of orders from some major brands because of technical problems they are having in the development of this processor (overheating, RAM controller or GPU Adreno 430 malfunctions).
there are 3 diffrent versions of it the cheapest one is using a mtk soc the 810 versions are more expensive
