We have been looking at the availability of Chinese smartphones on Amazon. Here are the top 10 Chinese phones you can buy right now.
It was once a tricky task to get your hands on a Chinese phone, but now there are more ways than ever and Amazon is an often overlooked option. There are 100’s of Chinese phones available on Amazon, but we have picked the top 10 you can buy now. The following links are affiliate links.
UMi Zero
With proven constant updates, a growing community and new accessories on the way, the UMi Zero is a good affordable phone with some nice hardware. Specifications include a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, 13 mega-pixel Sony camera and 2.0Ghz octacore processor. There is no LTE in the phone but 2GB RAM, dual SIM and room for an SD card all wrapped in a slim alloy body make up for that.
Huawei Honor 6
The Huawei Honor 6 is the slightly smaller, single camera brother to the Huawei Honor 6 Plus. The 5-inch phone packs just a single 13 mega-pixel rear sensor, but features faster focus and capture speeds. The Honor 6 also comes with an octacore Kirin processor, 3GB RAM and 5 mega-pixel front camera.
Huawei Ascend Mate 7
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 remains one of the best looking premium phablets out of China of the moment. The Mooblight Silver version can be had on Amazon at a good price, and includes 3GB RAM, LTE, and best of all ships from Huawei themselves!
Xiaomi Redmi 2
The Xiaomi Redmi 2 is the phone for those of you who just need a compact device to keep you connected. The little Xiaomi might not be as powerful as rival devices but it is a comfy and dependable phone and ships with MIUI V6.
Oppo Find 7
Even though I had an issue with my Oppo Find 7, I still enjoyed the phone and prefer it to the OnePlus One which is based on the same hardware. The Find 7 is the 2K QHD version of the phone with Snapdragon 801 chipset and 3GB RAM.
Gizchina News of the week
OnePlus One
The OnePlus One is a firm favourite of many. Although it might not have the best camera performance in the world, it is hard to deny that as an overall package it is very hard to beat. Various sellers are offering both versions of the OPO for sale, just ensure you are getting the model that will work with your LTE networks.
Meizu MX4
Meizu sell both their MX4 and MX4 Pro on Amazon, but it is the standard MX4 that we like the most. The Meizu MX4 boasts a powerful MT6595 processor, 2GB RAM, LTE and 20.7 mega-pixel rear camera. We also enjoy the ultra-thin bezels and aggressive curve to the rear making it one of the most comfortable phones to hold.
Elephone P6000
On of the first to arrive on the market with a 64bit Mediatek processor, the Elephone P6000 is quite the bargain for anyone wanting a ton of power for not much money.
The Elephone P6000 boasts a 1.5Ghz processor, LTE, 2GB RAM and 13 mega-pixel camera. Lollipop is on the way, and there is an active community of Elephone fans building apps and hacks for the devices over on their forums.
JiaYu S3
Another 64bit Mediatek smartphone, the JiaYu S3 is a true Mediatek flagship for 2015. The phone boasts 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel Sony sensor, and large 5.5-inch FHD display. The ROM is also rather nice too with tons of features and a similar ColorOS look to it.
Ulefone Be Pro
Another 64bit Mediatek phone, the Ulefone Be Pro packs a MT6752 chipset, 2GB RAM, dual SIM, LTE and SD card expansion. The Be Pro comes with Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box, but the Ulefone team are hard at work to release Lollipop for the phone very soon.

where’d u get it from for 175 ?
yesterday at panda with holiday 15$ coupon
Kk
Where did you get it from please I want to buy one? The once I saw were $10 more 🙂 . Are you having battery issues too? How is the battery life?
I agree the prices are Grand Theft Mobiles! I will stick with the risk of resellers thanks.
at panda bought it yesterday so i dont know about issues…
Mr pdayahoo what are your observations of the phone so far?
I have mine for 3 days now. Battery life is just standart. If you leave the phone on standby, it uses very little power. However, charging time is dreadfully long.
Just realised your name. Lol are from Ghana perchance ?
172$ su aliexpress for JIAYU S3 2GB. 18$ for spedition in Italy with Swiss Post….
Elephone P6000 has 2GB of RAM (not 3GB RAM, as stated in the article).
I love ordering with Amazon because I never have to deal with customs even for phones shipped directly from China.

I notice all the Amazon links are to the U.K. version of the site and some of the models mentioned are completely unavailable to North American readers. Disappointing. Makes this site slightly less useful for researching my next phone as I realize that some of the phones could be not usefulnot released for my area.

@Gizchina:disqus,
Wanted to ask you something about MX4’s camera if you know. As far as I know MX4’s camera doesn’t have any OIS… correct me if I’m wrong.. BUT the same sensor is used to f.e. Sony Xperia Z2/3 where it has OIS or at least something similar.
Having OIS on a device is hardware or software related? Meaning is it possible in a future software update to have OIS on MX4’s camera? (if we assume that it doesn’t have atm and it’s software related)
OIS is hardware related. There are a few “anti shake” software features, but OIS is built into the lens. Optical image stabilization really means “optical”…
Thanks for clearing it out. MX4 makes nice photos but if your hands are not so steady then you might need some tries before you get the desired result.
I think ois is a really nice feature to have on mobile cameras.
Someone help me choose between Jiayu S3, Ecoo E04 and Ulefone Be Pro. Which one should I buy? Even though I would prefer 5inch phone
I would choose Ecoo E04
Jiayu s3
ecoo e04 is a very good phone but its not durable and i am not sure about its after sale support
Thanks for the suggestion, already bought Jiayu and I’m happy with it
You forgot to mention that the links included are with your ref code.

Just checking the Huawei Honor 6 on Amazon for its price, then suddenly I noticed something awkward: “usually ships in one to two MONTHS”… Right!

Hello. firstly everyone must be careful about build quality. so i will share my opinion.
1.dont by elephone, ulephone or jiyayu phones. they are lying and build quality just bullshit.
2.i have no idea about ecoo, and siswoo
3. i recommend brands like huawei,xiaomi,one plus,meizu,kingzone and may be umi .
How true! I would add: Buy what the Chinese buy and you’ll be fine. All the other brands are just crap!
So in your opinion should I buy the muizu m1 over the Jiayu s3? I know the muizu is a relatively reasonable brand in China.

All links go to Amazon UK – useless for those living in N.America.
Besides, prices are over inflated…for example, the Xiaomi 2S on the Amazon link is selling for 150 BP while the same phone sells for 119 BP on AliExpress. That’s a 26% markup!
Or, the 64GB OnePlus One for 319 BP ($493 USD)… which can be bought in the US and Canada direct from OnePlus every Tuesday, without an invite, for just $363 USD including shipping!
Don’t be a sucker by paying inflated prices for a Chinese phone!
You’ll save yourself lot’s of money and be a better informed consumer by checking out prices and comparing specs before you buy.
Here’s the best comparative shopping site I’ve found so far for Chinese phones:

Hi guys. I have a Cubot
phone at the moment, and I am not pleased with it at all. Still I do not
discard another Chinese phone, but want it to be way better than this one. My
main concerns are that the Cubot freezes and starts up again. Apps don’t work as
they should, and sometimes go missing, and the GPS… let’s say that it does
more often not find any satellites than it does. I am thinking about
Honor 6 Dual SIM. Any experiences anyone? Hints and tips? Better phones in this price range? Thanks!
