BQ launch new Aquaris M line of phones


Spanish phone maker BQ have jumped the gun and announced their new Aquaris M range today in Madrid rather at MWC next month.

BQ recently beat Meizu to the launch of the first production Ubuntu phone, have just launched 3 new smartphones under the new Aquaris M range.

The M5.5 and M5 (5-inch and 5.5-inch) come with Android Lollipop as standard, an octacore Snapdragon 615 processor, 5 mega-pixel front and 13 mega-pixel rear camera. The smaller M4.5 features an 8 mega main camera, and Mediatek 64bit processor.

All 3 phones come unlocked and will accept dual SIM cards plus Micro SD memory expansion. Pricing and a release date haven’t been confirmed, but expect to see the phones at MWC.

    and best phones shapes with minimal bezels !

    I’d like to know if i can get these shipped to Pakistan !
    also , i hope the pricing is kept BELOW $200 for BOTH the sets to be successful in an already bloated and unforgiving market!

    Is this really designed and engineered in spain By local spanish engineers and businessmen…?
    Or is this the pet project of a chinese businessman who setup “new european” companies to get a better marketing position for the chinese market.
