Huawei’s first real Android smartwatch is here and you can see it live in action in this recently released Huawei Watch promotional video.
Huawei’s plans to release a smartwatch have come to fruition and the device will be seen at MWC. Known simply as the Huawei Watch, the wearable is very similar to the Moto 360 with a more traditional watch design and metal body.
Gizchina News of the week
The video doesn’t go in to the specifications of the Huawei Watch, but from what is shown it is quite clearly an Android Wear device and features all the voice controls that Android Wear users have already become familiar with.

The ending of the video shows 3 colour and material options for the Huawei Watch including a black version with black leather strap, Gold and leather model and stainless steel option. We can’t wait to learn more about the Huawei Watch and other devices during MWC next week.
Kinda cheesy but I still love the design of it!
hmmm I can’t see the video… says it’s private…
must have been removed 🙁
It`s most likely using Mediatek’s new SoC for watches. It will be expensive like all Huawei devices, but will be cheaper to build. Everybody’s waiting for the Apple watch anyway.
Well, if everyone is waiting for a watch with less than a day of battery life…. I feel bad for everyone >.>
Looks classy, but nothing’s better than my Moto360 so far…
Seriously? The Huawei smart watch is more compact and have a true circular display, unlike the flat-dire-shaped display on the Moto360. Motorola’s bullshit excuse that sensors and display drivers had to go into the “chin” simply doesn’t cut it anymore.
As a smart watch I may consider buying it .
And taking about the Apple Watch , I will buy a classy Tag Heuer carrera instead .
