Mlais M52 Red Note MT6752 now on pre-sale for $149.99

One of the most affordable MediaTek MT6752 phones to have been announced yet, the Mlais M52 Red Note is now on pre-sale for the promised price of US$149.99.

We first heard of the phone some days back, and even got confirmation that it would go on sale soon. Since it is on pre-sale at the moment, it is obvious stocks aren’t up to scratch as yet (or perhaps Mlais are expecting to see a huge demand for this one).

As for the specifications of the phone, we’ve discussed them before; there’s a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720p display at the forefront, along with the MediaTek MT6752 rocking in the background. 2GB of RAM is what goes with the powerful octa-core 64-bit SoC on the M52 Red Note.

Besides those numbers, the Mlais M52 Red Note comes with a 13 mega-pixel rear camera and an 8 mega-pixel front facing camera. The phone is largely inspired by the Xiaomi Redmi Note in terms of design, but is expected to beat its inspiration on the performance front thanks to the choice of SoC.

The phone will be on pre-sale for US$149.99 on reseller Gearbest’s store until 29th March, after which the price may increase as we earlier reported.

We need more benchmarks and other tests like GPS, sound quality, call quality to say the least. Otherwise, it won’t be easy to make a decision.

i don’t get what is the point of using 6752 chipset, if the phone won’t be FHD.
If is not FHD, i would look for a 6732 chipset.
