Tablet maker Pipo produce $32 Pipo C2 smartwatch

Pipo are expanding their portfolio of tablets to now include smart wearables starting with this 199 Yuan watch.

The Pipo C2 is the first smartwatch we have seen from tablet maker Pipo, but we expect it won’t be the last if this affordable wearable manages to gain some traction. Specifications for the C2 haven’t been announced, but judging from the price we expect this to be quite a basic wearable with features such as call answering, simple message reply, notifications and sports/sleep monitoring.

All the electonics are part of the main body which can be detached from the strap and clipped to your shirt or simple placed in a pocket.

So far we have only seen the white model, but more colours will be on the way soon. Expect resellers to start stocking the Pipo C2 soon at around $40.
