Elephone have been making a song and dance about the fact they have tons of ROM options for the Elephone P5000, but where’s the proof? How about this video showing a couple of ROMs in the flesh.
Elephone have really embraced the idea of allowing alternate ROMS on to their phones, and with the thanks of fans, developers and their own team they are now able to offer a handful of great alternate UI options for the P5000.
In the video we get to see Cyanogen, MIUI, EMUI and FreemeOS running on the mid range Elephone P5000.
Gizchina News of the week
As well as the ROM options the Elephone 5000 also boasts a large 5350mAh battery, fingerprint scanner built in to the home button, 2GB RAM, and interpolated front and rear cameras offering 16 mega-pixel rear and 8 mega front. If only Elephone had opted for a 64bit MT6752 chipset with LTE, we would have little to complain about (let’s hope for an update similar to the ones made to the P3000 throughout 2014).
