Rumours and teasers of a LeTV branded super phone have taken on a solid form this morning as the first LeTV X600 passes through TENAA revealing some hardware features.
Since the release of their first Android ROM, LeTV have been teasing the release of their first smartphone(s), with claims that they plan to release a ‘better iPhone’ while insiders have hinted 3 new phones could be released.
Over on the TENAA website the first LeTV X600 phone has finally appeared confirming the existence, design and certain specifications of the phone ahead of the launch.
Gizchina News of the week
According to TENAA the 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 LeTV X600 measure 147.8 x 74.2 x 9.4mm, which is actually shorter and narrower than the iPhone 6 Plus but a few mm thicker. Images of the phone seem to confirm the alloy body design that was leaked a few weeks ago, with less of an iPhone look and more of a nod to the Meizu MX4.
Specifications for LeTC X600 confirm that the phone will run Android 5.0 Lollipop on 2GB RAM and a 2.2Ghz processor (either a new Mediatek chip or Snapdragon 810). Internal memory is 16GB (other options could be offered) while the rear camera is a 13 mega-pixel rather than the rumoured 21.7mp and the front a 5 mega-pixel shooter.
We’re sure LeTV will have some other hidden features on the phone, but will need to wait for the official unveiling of the device in the coming weeks to learn exactly what they could be.
