Xiaomi to open 100 experience stores in India

Xiaomi want to strengthen their market share in India by opening up to 100 Xiaomi Experience centers in the country where potential customers can learn more about the company.

Behind China, India is regarded as the most important market for Xiaomi, and as such the 5 year old Chinese phone maker wants to focus as much effort on the market as possible. Indian phone buyers are already excited over the company, but with an online only sales structure it’s not possible for customers to try before they buy. To resolve this Xiaomi are hoping to open up to 100 experience enters in the country where customers can learn more about the brand, get hands on time, and also receive customer service.

Gizchina News of the week

When and where these stores will open their doors is currently unknown. In other news Xiaomi are also set to begin production of phones in India to help keep costs competitive. Production in India could also mean that India customers might also country specific models in the future too.

100 stores? What, after 10 years from now? Love these shitty rumors which never come true (for good reasons).
