The Yu Yureka is a well rounded phone that comes with Cyanogen OS and doesn’t cost much. In the review of the Yureka, we also found out that it has a decent camera and WiFi performance, among other findings.
Moments back, Yu shared a photo on their social media streams that talked about the phone’s impending update to Android Lollipop. It’ll be Cyanogen OS 12 since the phone runs a version of Cyanogen OS 11 right now.
If you aren’t yet aware, Cyanogen OS is the commercial flavour of the popular 3rd party community ROM known as CyanogenMod. Despite sharing the OS with the OnePlus One, the prime competitors for Yu and the Yureka remain to be phones from Xiaomi (Mi) which happen to be priced in a range closer to the Yureka.
