Leaked: Doogee working on a new flagship device

Phone maker Doogee are working on a new smartphone to compete with the various other mid-range flagship phones on the market.

Our source in Shenzhen has supplied us with these exclusive leaked photos of the rear panel of a new Doogee smartphone scheduled to be released later this year. Very little is known about the phone other than it will sit high up in the Doogee range and features a brushed alloy type finish, however we have not confirmed if it is actually made of metal or is simply designed to mimic the look.

Specifications are also unknown, but as this is a mid-range flagship we should be looking at a 64bit Mediatek processor, LTE, 2GB RAM and a 5-inch+ FHD display, but that’s just our guess. We will keep on the case and hopefully bring your more details of this mystery Doogee soon.

bug in battery like DG2014?

Looks like an Alcatel/TCL rear cover. Doogee is a brand I want like. The DG2014 was very solidly built and had few if any software bugs, it also wasn’t loaded with crapware. But the customer service is and has been non existent and there is little to no warranty support from them our their suppliers.

    That is one of the biggest thing that holds many of these brands back. If
    I buy a Samsung/Apple phone it doesn’t matter where I am or where I bought it from I can get it fixed promptly.

      yeah…BUT , if chinese companies started taking thier customer services seriously , wouldnt that cost JUST as much as these big 2-3 brands ?

        It all depends on sales. How many sales are lost or never made because of the lack of customer service? I personally will never buy another OPPO or now Doogee phone because of bad customer service. I am sure I am not the only one. Also with good customer service you can charge a premium. People will pay more for Samsung/LG/Apple because they perceive it to be a premium phone with premium support.

        I work in marketing/sales for a company that works for some Chinese electronics companies and I have seen first hand how customer service can make or break a company. Even a company with the greatest product can be a disaster with no post sales support.

  I got a DG2014 to repair, and It feels premium on the hand, and the LCD and digitizer are pretty good for a $115 dollars phone, but some Doogee phones have a problem, if you apply pressure to the screen white spots of light are formed and they never go away(like if that area has a higher brightness setting applied), I have seen that problem on the DG310, DG580, DG550, DG800 and DG2014, plus all their screen are really easy to break, hell some DG2014 and DG550 break alone without any hit or bending.
  But that’s all bad things I have to said about the brand, everything else is good, they keep their phones updated with bug fixes via OTA and their price is the lowest of the “know” brands, so price/performance ratio is pretty high, if they add some LCD protection they will be golden on my book.

    I have had the phone for 4 months now and have not received a single OTA update. The build quality is very good, the software is mostly bug free a few minor things but nothing breaking. Personally I think build quality is excellent, I have dropped the phone multiple times and never had any issues with the display.
