JiaYu aiming to launch 299 Yuan 4G LTE phone with 64bit MT6735 chip

jiayu mt6735 phone

JiaYu already have a 600 Yuan 4G LTE phone in the form of the JiaYu F2, but more budget conscious shoppers can wait for an even cheaper model.

The JiaYu F2 is on sale now and as a complete package is quite a bargain, even if it does have a 32bit processor rather than a new 64bit chip. It was an odd decision by JiaYu to ship the F2 with an MT6582 SoC, but this latest news makes the decision all the more strange.

According to the latest JiaYu rumours, a new smartphone is coming from the company that is going to be priced between 199 and 299 Yuan. This budge device will come with LTE, and newer 64bit MT6735 processor. The MT6735 is similar in specification to the MT6732 but offers 4G LTE World Mode, for better international support.

The rest of the phone looks good to with sources stating that the display will be a 5-inch OGS panel, a high-capacity battery will be onboard and that Sony could be supplying the main camera!

More mystery JiaYu news as we get it.

All I’m saying is, Some Chinese phone makers are experts in the business offering top quality beyond expectations while some disappoints every time.

I am for weed! Someone definitely made mistake about price. MT6735 will cost a little bit less than MT6732 but nothing significant.

Probably MT6735 will be roughly equivalent to Snapdragon 410 at best. Could be slower even. Nowhere near to MT6732.

Obviously will be much cheaper solution.

But for that price goal they have to cut a lot of corners IMO. Likely 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 480p or 540p display resolution, 5MP back camera at best. No front camera likely.

Spot on, but don’t forget 1800mAH battery and f2.8 for camera

Will still be faster than S410. A little on CPU front (1.3GHz variant) but still significantly regarding GPU. It’s cheaper as T720 MP2 is smaller on silicon then T760 MP2 but this is not much. Right in between S410 & MT6732.

Are you sure about having 2 core of T720?

GFXBench Manhattan onscreen score of it shows significantly lower than Adreno 306.

I checked out again Mediatek’s roadmap. Seems it belongs to MT6735M, so I assume it should have been clocked lower. It’s CPU clocked to 1GHz also.

I am shore it’s T720 MP2. Didn’t look at gfx. It should be also hi clocked – 695MHz against T760 MP2 in MT6732 @ 500MHz. It should still be a little slower than MT6732 regarding GPU. If you look for some results for T760 MP2 in MT6732 & MT6752 you will notice how in some devices performance is actually cut in half. My expansion it that manufacturer actually bricked GPU drivers power management logic so second cluster (core is not adequate) actually don’t work at all. As much as I know MT6735 is supposed to scale from 1.3 to 1.5GHz. Best regards!

Lol I can’t believe this will be a phone with so low price. But I highly believe this will be the 64Bit version of F2.

Where is thl? JiaYu & lenovo doesn’t support WCDMA 850 – that’s the only reason I never order from those 2 though I like both companies.

    4G LTE World Mode

Nope, I don’t believe it, they can’t add the 3G 850 band to their phones I fucking doubt they will bother with more LTE bands.

if they can stick 1gb ram and some 3g/LTE in the F1, this is mos def feasible – btw. F1 is 299 yuan on their website now.
