Following on from leaked patents of a new bezel technology from Oppo are these photos which apparently show the tech in action.
Earlier today we posted news that a leaked patent pointed at a method of creating super slim phones by reflecting the light and contact from the display to transparent borders. The tech was spotted in a leaked patent obtained by Oppo.
Such is the speed of the Chinese tech news we have already seen our first purported leaked images of the technology in action.
Gizchina News of the week
It hasn’t been confirmed if this is actually a real Oppo leak or a clever fake, but what it purports to show is a new device running Oppo’s ColorOS with minimal side bezels. Just a very narrow black bezel is showing the images, the second images (with the hand on the right) appears have a slight curve to the left of the display.
Interesting stuff but is it real? Also are bezels as thin as these really a feature you are waiting for?

sorry , that went a bit harsh from me..
thing is Oppo actually have OFFICIAL recognition and outlet in my country and people NORMALLY hate their phones. which is a bit prejudiced.
what i meant by junk was that at half the price we can find better phone in chinese markets than pick oppo.their phones are ALWAYS way wayyy overpriced and not worth the big bucks they demand.
It is no different in Thailand. They have an Official presence here too and most people think they are overpriced junk. They are constantly having big sales to try to move product. I owned two OPPO’s both broke within 3 months and customer service was non existent.
I don’t know. The only Oppo I’ve ever used was the Find 5, and that was for some 3-4 weeks. Seemed fine to me, plus there’s massive ROM support.
I owned the Find 5, it was great for about 3 months and then the problems started setting in. Everything from a faulty battery to faulty memory. Thinking I just got a bad unit, realize it happens with all brands, I bought a second Oppo phone, the N1. That one lasted about 4 months before the same issues started happening. Both times it was a fight with their customer service to get them to fix anything. Usually it resulted in some rep yelling at me and blaming all the phones problems on my usage.
oh , im soo done with oppo!
Twice. First time I called them and figured okay I just caught someone on a bad day. Second time I went to an OPPO shop and the person there was even more rude. I was told by one of them “I took too many pictures and that’s why my camera stopped working”. I had maybe 1500 pictures on my phone, but more than half were on my SD card from another phone lol.
I was handing my credit card to pay for the latest OPPO’s, can’t remember the model, in Malaysia, in an OPPO’s outlet last month price at usd327.00 when an ASUS zenfone 5 caught my attention,Place both side by side compared the spec, both are on 4.4.2 kitkats and I remember of my laptop and gaming rigs all of which have lots of ASUS components, I decided to buy the ASUS for usd141.00, I’m happy with my choice, anyway I’m not having any ideas of passing the phone to my grandchildren in 30 years time unless it a Patek Philippe
I have always loved the look of OPPO’s but the performance/service just isn’t their to match it. After twice I gave up and became a loyal follower of Xiaomi, THL and Blu/Gionee. Never had a single issue with any of them.
Oppo also has official presence in my country, and they sell their phones at the same price than Samsung/Sony flagships, not even their Tv adds help them, I don’t think they will last in our market.
