It will get tested soon (TM) on German Gizchina, they just recently reviewed N3 plus and said noone should ever ever buy from Kingzone due to them lying about the battery, 1k less mAh. Also the Z1 has a lot less, 2700 vs they saying 3500. Shame. Also German gizchina has about 1000x better reviews than English one, shame about that too. ;/ Hire him to make English reviews Andy!

I think it’s the Siswoo i7. It’s a steal and it packs monster hardware, is perfectly built, lightweight and pretty small. the battery might be rather small, but the phone is perfectly optimized to get you over the day easily.
I’m pretty surprised it isn’t in the list above as the review on here is very good.

How do Gionee, Mlais and Iocean brands compare to Kingzone or Jiayu. Do they have a good reputation and use quality components?

    • balcobomber25
      March 26, 2015

Gionee is one of the biggest OEM’s in China. They sell a lot of their phones under various brand names in other countries, such as Blu in the US. Iocean is comparable to Jiayu or Kingzone, they are a smaller company that so far has made quality phones. I have no history with Mlais, can’t tell you anything about them.

Exactly this is my choice for a new phone. A 6752, with 5.5 FHD, 2 or 3 GB RAM, min 16GB internal and a good camera. And my choice was ECOO Aurora. And second one jiayu s3.

So for those of us in the US, the only current options are the Mlais M62 and the Kingzone Z1. None of the others have the 850 band for 3G. And none work on US LTE or TMobile bands. So even with those 2 listed, you are only talking about non-LTE on AT&T or Cricket.

For me, the lack of LTE is not a deal breaker, and I am on Cricket. But a without the 850 band on 3G you are basically talking no data except for Wifi. So I’m waiting for reviews on the Z1 and M62 and hoping for a smaller 5 or 5.2 inch model that supports the 850 band.

    • Dav

I have the same issue w/ 850 band. But i looking for a little bigger screen (5.5′). Thinking about buy Kingzone Z1 or Mlais 52 Red Note. Maybe someone can help me which one is better? I heard about system bugs on previous ver of Mlais phone.

Gionee once again lying about the dimensions?
No way that a phone with such thick bezels and a 5.2 screen has a profile that is as small/smaller than the 5 inch Xiaomi Mi4 (which in fact looks to have smaller bezels).

If indeed the Gionee ‘s dimensions were thus it would be an ideal phone despite the fact that it would cost twice as much as the other phones, ergonomics is probably the most important aspect in those huge phones , so it’s OK to pay even twice as much for having it. Then again they’re clearly lying and I can’t see why. It’s probably at the size of Xperia Z4 (I. E. hefty) only slimmer, so -yeah- not easy to recommend at such cost.
