iOcean have already released the MT6752 Rock and started to sell the X9, now they are looking for fans help in building their next flagship device.
Over on the official iOcean Facebook page, iOcean have reached out to fans and asked for advice and input in putting together the next generation iOcean phone.
The device, currently believed to be named the iOcean X1, appears t have the outline of the Oppo Find 7/OnePlus One but it’s not certain if the image actually represents the new phone or is just being used for promotion only.
Gizchina News of the week
iOcean appear to have settled on using an octacore Mediatek MT6795 processor and have a fingerprint scanner included, but need fan input on other details such as the amount of RAM, the camera specs and the size of the battery.
As an added incentive fans 10 participants in the questionnaire will be sent free iOcean mascot toys.

GIMME ONE!
MT6795 means no gaming (or shitty gaming at best), and no GPS (or shitty GPS at best). No thanks MediaTek/iOcean: I’m not saying the SD801/805 is perfect, but given 801 phones’ prices these days, they’re superb value for money, coupled with kick-ass gaming and 4-5 second GPS locks from cold state.
With time, 805/810 prices will come down too, and then they’ll be equally viable as the 801 currently is. Unless MediaTek does something about its GPU and the GPS receiver, it’s not a worthy option. (And that bullshit about phone manufacturers being the culprits in not engineering the antenna properly is just that – bullshit. MediaTek sucks for GPS).
Strong words. Played games on Meizu mx4 and it’s performs as good as my sd801 nubia-z7 max
Mtk6795 should outperform sd810 in alot of areas. Let’s be realistic man. U can’t spot d difference in gpu performances.
