Blackview teamed up with German designer Dieter Rams on their Blackview Alife S1, which is now on sale at a surprisingly low price.
Usually when a big name designer is attached to a smartphone design, or anything for that matter, the device’s retail price will be greatly exaggerated. With Dieter Rams behind the wheel of the new Blackvew Alife S1 we expected a similar astronomical price but are happy to see something more down to earth.
The Alife S1 is now on sale and features a rear 13 megapixel Samsung Isocell CMOS sensor (interpolated to 18 MP), built-in LED remote for controlling house hold appliances, dual SIM support and a 1.5ghz Mediatek MT6732 64bit chipset. All of this is built in to a slim CNC chassis with business like lines.
Gizchina News of the week
Blackview are launching the Alife S1 with Android 4.4 Kitkat, but with its 64bit processor we are hoping that Android 5.0 Lollipop will be made available as early as possible.
Full specifications of the Blackview Alife S1 can be found over on the official Blackview website, while the S1 can be picked up for just $179.99 here.

מצטער , אינני רואה יופי בזה. העיצוב רגיל וללא פינות מעוגלות
and the PRICE … oh gawd , it BURNS !
I like how it has no curves. Just how I like my women..no wait
Tastes are different, but you’ve got to admit it’s a refreshing design.

“STOP EFFING STALKING ME ON EVERY PAGE”
i don’t comment for cvnts LIKE YOU ! :@
Wow Dieter rams actually designed this? Find that kind of hard to believe given how bland the design is and how the company is basically a no name outfit, this man was basically Jonny Ives no.1 inspiration. Seems like a very strange collaboration. Phone looks reasonable, have to see a review though, not expecting much and why would anyone be launching a phone with 4.4 now 5.0 has been out for so long.
