Dakele are one of those brands that always seem to be around but never actually launch anything, however today they did finally get around to releasing the Dakele 3 for sale in China in limited numbers.
Dakele are one of the original Chinese smartphone makers. They have a cult following in China which keeps the brand ticking over even though they never appear to actually release a phone for sale. International buyers aren’t likely to see the Dakele 3 on reseller stores, and even Chinese fans will have trouble getting one as they are made in very limited numbers.
Released online today, the Dakele 3 is marketed as the first Sapphire glass phone in China. The reality is the screen has a Sapphire coating and isn’t actually made of the super tough Sapphire material.
The design of the phone resembles the iPhone 6, and like the Apple product is made of high quality alloy.
Being a flagship device, the 3 has a 5-inch FHD display, 3GB RAM, 64bit Mediatek MT6752 processor, 8 mega-pixel from camera, 13 mega-pixel front, 2500mAh battery, Dual SIM and LTE.
Retail price in China for the phone is 1499 Yuan, a little more than devices like the JiaYu S3, but the alloy chassis is likely to be far more expensive to make.
nice…lets hope they will release also FDD-LTE version with wide band range.
Yeah, if pigs could fly…
I frankly didn’t expect to see this phone announced anymore, I was on its way to become as much a vapor-ware smart phone as, i.e. the JiaYu S4
iphone clone…anyway superb …well done!
