Elephone have finally put their Elephone P7000 flagship up for presale, revealing the price of this 3GB RAM device to be $229.99.
It has been a long time coming but Elephone’s first flagship device of 2015 has finally been listed for presale revealing the final retail price of the phone for the first time. Elephone first announced that they were working on the P7000 months back, so the wait has seemed like an eternity, but finally it is here and ready to be ordered.
To recap, the Elephone P7000 is a Mediatek flagship device aimed to compete with phones like the JiaYu S3 advanced, iOcean MT6752 Rock and Meizu M1 Note (when it finally gets an international release). Specifications include a 64bit Mediatek MT6752 chipset, 3GB RAM, integrated fingerprint scanner on the rear, LTE and 5.5-inch FHD display.
Compared to the rest of the flagship pack, Elephone have managed to get Sony to supply the rear 13 mega-pixel IMX214 camera, a 5 mega-pixel up front, and large 3450mAh battery. All of this sits inside a CNC machined alloy chassis.
The icing on the cake is that Elephone are shipping the Elephone P7000 with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Three colours are available including grey, silver and gold.
The official retail price of the Elephone P7000 is $229.99, but GizChina readers can save $5 and receive free international DHL shipping through Elephone.cc using the coupon code: FUNP7000.
We have asked for our review sample and hope it will arrive soon.
Finally on pre-sale Huh. I hope they don’t ship it with shitty ROM again.
That is usually the big elephant-in-the-room question with them isn’t it? 😉
you don’t read ? elephone 7000 ( pioneer ) comes with 5 or 6 OS miui , android 5.0 pure , freemeOs , EMUI …
Do you think that we can trust Elephones specifications about battery capacity and kind of camera sensor?
I honestly dont fully trust any chinese brand that isn’t a major player on the local chinese market and does not have a taobao/tmall store. After all if they dont sell local, they won’t have to deal with complaining customers and warranty returns too much.
Being all the cheap chinese sensors are 13mp I’d say it definitely isnt a Sony sensor. If it was a Sony sensor they would have gone with 16mp.
I heared it’s Sony sensor, maybe we can hope Andi review it, then give us a reply.
The IMX214 is a 13mp unit and very good, if it was 16mp it would have been interpolated and that is not good.
An international version without LTE FDD Band 20?!
it’s support FDD LTE Band 20, sorry for our mistake. it was updated on our website, enjoy buy it now with FREE DHL Shipping~
FREE DHL!?
yes, absolutely!
Leveraging at elephone.cc staff, could they tell me if the p7000 supports 850 Mhz band on WCDMA 3G?. Please 3G i dont ask for GSM 2G
Regards.
Can you do Singapore post?
yes, we can. leave your message with the order please!
Hello, just want to know if ill get 3G/H+/4g/LTE on tmobile inthe U.S, thank you
so does it work on tmobile?
I hope the mlais m7 will kick its ass!!
i do not think so, sure you will be satisfied with our new Elephone p7000 if u used it!
Really? Send me one then I will give it a fair review.
me too! i want one for testing!
that’s ok, you can apply it via email to our service customer.
I just did it! Let’s see if you will keep your words.
wow! you’re here eavesdropping!
that’s focus on our customer’s voice, we really do hard work on customer experience!
To bad is more than a month away,
best product always waiting for so long, like Apple watch~LOL.
Actually chinese upcoming brands can drastically increase their popularity if they keep in touch with their customer base and start giving some good service + work on delivering what the customers really want (=quality hardware and firmware, right from launch day) .
I have to say the p7000 is very good looking which also helps a lot. the only hurdle i see (coming from europe) is the price in combination with dhl shipping, it means we end up paying appx 275 us$ including import tax, and that is more than for example meizu m1 note or jiayu s3 from resellers with stock in europe. So the question here is, do you (elephone) think your phone is worth the extra money, and if so why 🙂
well, come to pakistan please!
sir p7000 work in pakistan and other asia market???
If they could have got this far back in January I would have been almost excited about it. Now, so far behind schedule, I’ll wait to see what Mlais have to offer in the M7. I’m thinking it will be available before Elephone p7000 anyway!
If they put cyanogenmod and a good camera i can buy this.
if they put a great camera..i am all out for it!

I’m not a fan of Elephone but I have to say that the gold looks surprisingly good (I normally would only consider black).
If it’s really Sony sensor, and comes earlier than Mlais m7, I will buy one, the P7000 looks more cool.

Oh God don’t use DHL this company is a joke! For Greece they asking crazy money! 80€ for them plus they asking me the PayPal receipt plus airport tax 30€ plus the tax to the final price they need more than 150€. I have fight with them 3 times and 2 refused the packet.
My solution to this stupid company is to use EMS! is far better for Greece I don’t know for other countries but for Greece EMS comes at Greece public post office but IS the good service and it’s called Elta courier.
Here in netherlands DHL always lets you pay 21% import tax and a small service fee.. Normal post does not always let you pay 21% tax, but if they do they also let you pay a much higher 15 euro service fee.
There are ways to cheat DHL,you just have to let the seller know that you want the package send gangsta style,he knows…
so you’re complaining because by law, you should be paying taxes? This is not DHL’s fault.
Jeremy I complaining because they have so many taxes and a phone that have 150€ you pay another 150€ to DHL when they stop it. Didn’t say that I don’t want to pay taxes. Last time for a Jiayu G2f I had paid 99€ for the phone and 101€ for DHL all taxes and they say it was friendly price because they cost it for 50€ !
Basically it’s not taxes.
Tax would be 23%,but Dhl charges~100€ as fee and tells the customers it’s taxes.
really dhl so weird , recently im tried aramex , was nice and great !
no GLONASS?,,and does it contain WIFI display?
At last, an Elephone to actually consider buying. Well, apart from the Jiayu, Ecoo, Dakele etc.. competition )
The phone looks really far out for its price and those features. Elephone is first on my list among other Chinese brands.

you can flash any one by recovery

looks realy nice. best of all chinese (and many brand name) phones.
to bad they didn’t make it 5′.
i really dont understand who buys all this phablets, and how does that people bringing it, in Backpack, Bag or Briefcase!?
5.5″ is the ideal size for a mobile device for me. I read a lot about people comparing them to TV’s but I just carry my Ecoo E04 (5.5″) in my pocket. I wear normal jeans and it’s not a problem at all. It will maybe take a few days to get use to the size, but after that you can tell whether is it okay for you or not. I cannot go smaller anymore. The UMI Zero was a 5 inch device and besides the UMI Zero being a disaster phone, I missed the little extra display-space when reading e-mails and documents and while playing games.
It will always be personal. When someone is used to an 4.7″ iPhone screen, quickly something like 5″ or 5.5” looks like a TV. My line was crossed with the iOcean G7 which had a 6.44″ display. The device will still fit most pockets but just was too heavy for me.
umi zero was a disaster?!
Yes. It still is a terrible device. Great looks, bad building quality and very bad software. I’ve wasted enough words on that failure in the past. Go to the forums of UMI and read it yourself. A disaster.
i see…
I would like to add that even i had my initial apprehensions with 5’5 but when i held the 1+1 of my colleague,i was surprised how it felt right without being bulky, much i would say depends on the weight of phone also.Any 5’5 below 160 gms seems manageable. Also smaller bezels help in reducing overall dimensions,so it all depends on the review of this phone for buy no-buy decision. That being said, for me 5’5 is definitely the upper max limit.
Next time an iphone user jokes about your portable TV, ask him about his overpriced poststamp.

Too bad they don’t have a bigger battery, 5000 should be doable, and bigger screen, bigger than 6″. Big screen phablets are fantastic. You can do so much more when the screen isn’t so tiny.
