Nubia may have made the Nubia Z9 mini and max public, but the flagship Z9 is still very much a mystery and hotly discussed item. Here is the latest render of the upcoming phone with details.
ZTE announced their Nubia brand as a flagship phone maker just a few years ago. The original idea behind the brand was to product upmarket and higher priced phones, but that quickly changed with pressure from Huawei, and Xiaomi. Today, Nubia are known for making value flagships, and often release phones with tempting features.
This year we are still waiting for the release of the flagship Nubia Z9 which will sit at the top of the new phone line-up above the Z9 mini and Z9 max. Through leaks and media reports it is largely believed that the Z9 will feature a near bezel-less design, have at least 3GB RAM and be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset.
A new render throws a few more details in the mix including a fingerprint scanner under a home button on the chin of the phone (like the Meizu MX4 Pro) and curved display similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6. While the fingerprint scanner seems likely, we are not sure if ZTE could offer a similar curved display at a price many Chinese phone fans will be willing to pay.
