In past leaks concerning bezel-less phones, we are usually left with some tiny sliver of bezel, but that does not seem to be the case with the latest Oppo.
Oppo’s bezel-less phone has been seen in a number of leaks over the weeks, and a new up close photo gives us a macro view of the edge of the phone.
The photo seems to show a curved edge, which might be the first implementation of Oppo’ patented ‘clear’ bezel which actually reflect what the screen is showing for a bezel free appearance. Past the glass there is a little black but this is most likely just a layer of bonding agent to attach the screen to the chassis.
We can see the rear panel protrudes slightly from the side for added screen security in the event of a knock or fall.
This Oppo seems to be a variant on the current R line-up which is made up of thin, attractive phones rather than power users, but we will be interested to see if a similar design is incorporated in the upcoming Oppo Find 9.
